Request for Proposals for Janitorial & Painting Services – Vacant Units

The Easton Housing Authority (EHA) is now seeking proposals via in-person drop off, USPS mail, or email for the provision of qualified personnel to perform janitorial & painting services for vacant units for the EHA until October 8, 2026, at 3PM. EHA reserves the right to waive any informality in, or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof. The complete Request for Proposals (RFP) document will be available here. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 221 South Fourth Street, Easton, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. For the convenience of interested firms and entities the conference will explain the program and required results. The pre-proposal conference will include an on-site visit. Additional information may be requested by Email: jcampana@eastonhousing.org CC: tmiller@eastonhousing.org  Any city permits and/or licenses, as required, will be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. NOTICE OF ADDENDUM NO. 1

RFP #2026-01 – Snow Removal Services

The Easton Housing Authority has issued Addendum No. 1 to RFP #2026-01 for Snow Removal Services. Addendum No. 1 includes revised maps, a supplemental pre-proposal conference and site visit, clarification of service requirements for 157 S. Fourth St, and an extension of the proposal submission deadline.

Supplemental pre-proposal conference date: September 14, 2026, at 9:30 A.M.

New Proposal Due Date: Friday, September 18, 2026, at 3:00 P.M.

Important Update for Landlords

Starting September 1, 2026, the Easton Housing Authority will limit rent increases to a maximum of $50 per unit for Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participants. This change helps ensure the program remains stable and continues to serve families in our community. All rent increase requests will still be reviewed for rent reasonableness and program compliance.  Please call the Resident Services office if you have any questions related to this. 

The Easton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will hold its next Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
